Do I need a membership to use CheckUp USA services?
No. Every service is available à la carte, pay-as-you-go — a single direct-pay appointment, booked when you want it. An optional exclusive annual membership, with the roster capped per physician to ensure quality of access, is available for those who want the deepest level of access and priority scheduling.
Does CheckUp USA accept insurance?
No. CheckUp USA Longevity program is a direct-pay service of Nova Health Management & Research Group and is not billed to insurance. Prices are provided before booking. Patients of The Iyer Clinic keep their insurance-covered primary care and add CheckUp USA services individually.
My insurance says it covers these tests — why can't I use it here?
Insurance pays for testing to diagnose and treat a condition you already have. CheckUp USA testing is preventive and predictive — we test to find risk early, while you're still well. Because you don't have a diagnosed condition, there's no covered diagnosis to bill against, and we won't put a false diagnosis on your record to obtain coverage. We also apply AI-driven predictive analysis and a personalized prevention plan — precision medicine outside the scope of insurance-covered services. If you ask your insurer whether these tests are covered even when you do not have a diagnosed condition, they will give you the correct answer.

Care is physician-directed and led personally by Ravi Iyer, MD — 42 years in practice, trained at NMCH and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the MGH Cancer Center at Harvard Medical School, and George Washington University Medical Center. A Northern Virginia Magazine Top Doctor every year since 2014.
