The Vitality Room

The Neuroaligned Life Program™

The Mindset of Vital Living. A free hour with Dr. Ravi Iyer, twice a month, on how the mind decides what the years become.

Longevity medicine spends most of its attention on the body — the panel, the marker, the protocol. This room is about the other half, and it is the half that determines whether any of the rest gets used.

How you see a thing decides what you do about it. How you speak decides what you are willing to be held to. Where your attention goes is where your life goes. None of that is soft, and none of it is optional.

What it is

An hour of teaching and conversation — not a session you leave running.

Forty minutes of teaching. Twenty minutes of your questions, which is usually the best part. You type them in; Dr. Iyer answers them aloud, without your name.

No selling. No supplements. No pitch at the end.

Open to anyone. You do not need to be a patient of the practice, and you do not need to become one. Bring your spouse. Bring your adult children.

The practical part

Before you register, please read this part properly.

  • When One hour, twice a month, on fixed days. Saturday mornings, 9:00–10:00 am Eastern, twice a month
  • Where Live on Zoom. The link comes with your confirmation.
  • Camera It cannot be turned on. Not “please leave it off” — the control is removed for everyone but Dr. Iyer, so there is nothing to remember and nothing to get wrong. Your microphone is the same. Nobody sees you and nobody hears you. The only person on screen is Dr. Iyer.
  • Your name Nobody in the room will know who you are. Before you are admitted, your display name is changed to a number — Attendee 12, or whatever you happen to be. So is everybody else’s. You will see a list of numbers, and so will they. Nobody can see who else came, and nobody can see that you did.
  • Format Forty minutes of teaching, then twenty minutes of open questions. The hour ends at ten. If you want to stay on, Dr. Iyer stays until 10:30 for The Long Answer — the same questions, taken at length. Entirely optional, and nothing in the hour depends on it. You type your question in — you are never asked to speak. It reaches Dr. Iyer and the co-host and nobody else in the room, and it arrives under your number, not your name. He answers it aloud, and there is no name to read out. There are no breakout rooms.
  • Recording The teaching is recorded and posted free. Nothing you say is recorded — ever. The recording stops at 9:36 and does not restart, so the question period is never in it. Twice during the teaching Dr. Iyer asks the room to type something and reads out how many people said what — never a sentence, never a name. Zoom captures the active speaker only, so your camera is not in the frame and your name is not on the screen. The chat is never saved.
  • Registration Required. One registration covers a whole arc of six sessions — register once, attend as many as you like.
  • Cost Free. Nothing is sold in the room.
  • Seats Fifty seats, so the question period stays a conversation rather than a queue.

How the year is built

Four arcs of six sessions. Each one is complete in itself.

You can begin at the start of any arc and lose nothing. There is no catching up to do and no earlier material you needed to have seen.

I

The Prison of Perception

How the words you use about yourself quietly decide what you believe you are still able to do.

II

The Aligned Self

Your wiring, your strengths and their shadows, and the room you actually live in.

III

The Eye of the Storm

Attention, stillness, and what holds when the pressure does not let up.

IV

Your Word and Your Years

Integrity, commitment, and the question of what the time is actually for.

Arc I — The Prison of Perception

Before you can change what you do, you have to see what you have already decided is true. Six sessions on the limits nobody ever tested.

  • I.2 The Prison of Perception Finding the walls, and checking which ones are real. Sat 30 Jan

Who runs it

Ravi R. Iyer, MD

Founding physician of Iyer Health, forty-two years in medicine and science, and the author of Squirrels in My Brain, Acorns of Wisdom and Go Gentle Into That Good Night.

The material in this room is drawn from those books and adapted for one person thinking about their own life, rather than for a team or an organisation. Dr. Iyer teaches every session himself.

Before your first session

Take twelve minutes and find out where to start.

The MindSpan Scorecard™ is twenty statements across the four domains this programme teaches. It takes about twelve minutes, it is free, and nothing is sold at the end of it.

It does not grade you against anybody else. It shows you which of the four domains is weakest right now — and that is the arc to start with. Take it again in a year and the comparison is with the only person it should be: you.

Two scorecards, two halves. The Healthspan Scorecard measures the body. The MindSpan Scorecard™ measures the half this room is about. Take either. Take both.

Nothing you answer is transmitted and nothing is stored — the scoring happens in your own browser.

Can’t make it live?

Every teaching session is posted afterwards, free.

Watch any session at any time, in any order. Nothing is gated and nothing is asked for in return.

What a recording cannot give you is the part where you ask your own question and get an answer to it. The question period is never recorded and never posted. It only happens live.

An hour, twice a month, for the half that decides the rest.

Free. Open to anyone. Bring a question.
